traditional English Sunday roast

Sunday Roast is kind of a big thing here — pretty much the only thing on the menu in most pubs on Sunday afternoons. My flatmates and I went to a pub in the neighbourhood that is pretty much exactly what you would picture if you closed your eyes and though of an English pub — hard wood bar, no frills lighting, framed sketches reminiscent of Charles Dickens hung on the wall, lacy curtains in the windows, and folks sitting around chatting for a few hours, without a TV in sight.

Selected dishes? Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding (me, boring), lamb, and rabbit in a mustard sauce.
